Project due diligence:
How project due diligence helps avoid and resolve disputes

Please join the Association of Corporate Counsel Houston Chapter for a primer on the benefits and cost savings of performing due diligence before every deal, providing legal mechanisms to avoid conflict, and understanding the consequences from conflict if/when the time comes. A panel of speakers will provide war stories on good/bad situations, focusing on due diligence items such as vetting the deal/partners, ensuring contract synergy, and having a clear understanding of the legal means and remedies (i.e., indemnification, choice of law/venue, arbitration provision and prevailing party fees agreements).

11:30 am - 12:00 noon: Check-In/Networking
12:00 noon - 1:00 pm: Lunch/Program
