The Aftermath of Harvey...and We're Not Talking About the Hurricane: The Role of In-house Counsel in Eliminating Workplace Harrassment

News coverage of sexual harassment has sharpened the focus of the important role of in-house counsel in creating safe workplaces. Our panel will recap the key events and coverage that have elevated the discussion as they review the approaches in-house counsel can use in their organizations. A highly interactive format will hone in on issues such as:

  • Is the threat of retaliation keeping employees from coming forward?
  • Is more sensitivity training a good solution in this climate?
  • Who should be included on the team handling the investigation of allegations (privileged vs. non-privileged)?

**Limited parking will be available in the Bank of America Center garage. The garage entrance is located on Smith Street between Capitol and Rusk Streets. Parking can be validated at our reception desk once you arrive. You may park in any unreserved spot. Upon parking in the garage, please use the elevator to go to the Bank of America Center lobby. Please proceed to the 30th floor using the South elevator bank next to the concierge desk for Floors 26 - 36.
